How to check a product or outlet

Cari Produk Halal on halalmui.org

Search by product name. The list covers products that LPPOM inspected.

  1. Search the product name on LPPOM's product search.
  2. Because BPJPH issues the certificate, confirm it on bpjph.halal.go.id as well.
  3. Check that the business and product match the pack you are holding.

What it certifies

  • Halal audits of products and production
  • Laboratory testing

Legal basis and certificate term

LPPOM's guide says Indonesian certificates used to last four years and now stay valid while the composition, suppliers, process and production site stay the same, and that companies must still report changes.

Worth knowing

  • LPPOM inspects; it does not issue Indonesian certificates. Since BPJPH took over issuing them, a product's certificate is a BPJPH certificate even when LPPOM did the audit.
