Malaysia is the McDonald’s market with a first-party Halal page. The operator describes JAKIM recognition for the restaurant model, including hygiene rules and a surau at many shops. A 16 August 2026 live fetch of mcdonalds.com.my/halal was blocked by Cloudflare; the wording above is from the 9 December 2024 Wayback capture of that same URL, plus JAKIM’s public MYeHALAL portal to check today’s premise certificate. This does not clear a McDonald’s outside Malaysia, and it is not a count of Malaysian restaurants.
