Is Irish food Halal?

Is Guinness Halal?
No. Guinness is a stout — a beer, brewed and sold as an alcoholic drink — and intoxicating drink is Haram by consensus. The zero-alcohol Guinness 0.0 is a separate product and a separate question, which turns on how your school treats de-alcoholised drinks rather than on the original.
Is Irish stew Halal?
Halal if verified. The lamb or mutton has to come from Islamic slaughter, and that is the main check. Beyond it, ask whether the pot was started with a non-Halal stock and whether any stout went in — a splash of Guinness is a common restaurant variation that is not in the traditional recipe.
Is white pudding Halal?
No. White pudding is a pork-and-oatmeal sausage — the same family as black pudding without the blood. Pork is Haram by consensus. Some Halal butchers sell a beef version under the same name, which is a different product and needs its own check on the slaughter.
